Flag of Sudan

Guess again! But while you’re here…

In 2019, popular protests led to change in Sudan, a country in northeast Africa. As crowds converged around the military headquarters in the country’s capital, an art collective formed. Artists worked together on rolls of canvas to form a two-mile colorful work of art to unroll around the sit-in site. Even soldiers came out to paint. Since then, murals and graphics have been painted in public places all through Sudan.
